The DVD that comes with the remastered version of Mercyful Fate's "Melissa" was recorded in the Dynamo Club in 1983! I can even see myself in the crowd for a split sec during "Black Funeral".

I also recognize some of my friends there. Like Buddy, Wim and a few others. Its cool to have this.

Thanks for all the reactions, well except Wyvern of course .

Its weird, the last few months several metal institutes are celebrating their 25/20th anniversary and some pictures or other material shows up that brings back a lot of memories.

This dvd being one example. Another is the Dutch metal Mag Aardschok having its 25th anniversary and naming me on its list of editors. I am not one to live in the past but its nice to be remembered at what once was.

My closest thing to being seen was being at the concert where the MTV vid for "Walk"by Pantera was filmed in Chicago. I'm nowhere to be found but it's still cool to know.

So Hawk, is this concert a total bootleg quality and rough, or is it a decent picture and worth buying?

Hey, I was at that show and I swear the very first shots of that video are of me and my buddy Ray going crazy in the balcony. We were the only ones really going nuts up there and I think it's us. It's shot from behind so it's hard to tell, but I think it is. Anyway, that show was great. Even with Phil puking on the side of the stage a few times!

Thats cool!! It great to have something like that. Its a little history of yourself mingled with the bands history.
