I know im probably a little late on this...

when i first heard that dave was gonna do a metal album i assumed that it would be his own material,it turned out to be so cheesy with no weight at all to it,what a waste

Hmmmm....
Both of these are on my to buy list.
What's the Exodus sound like? Some of their early stuff had bad production. Is it put together well now?
Seems like Probot would a good record. I haven't heard it, but I think David Grohl puts together some good music. And if it's metal this time, I've got high hopes.

Dave doing metal? That should be interesting. I have been flipping shit over the new Exodus and I have not even heard it yet. I reallu need to pick that up. Those guys were freaking crazy in their day. I'll agree with the bad production though, maybe they were just broke? I hope when I finally here the new stuff it does not dissapoint me. Maybe this time they can bring up the bass a little bit?

Dave doing metal with Lemmy, Max Cavalera, Kurt Brecht (D.R.I.), Mike Dean (COC), fuckin Wino (he rules), Eric Wagner, and King Diamond doing vocals.

Hmmm, King Diamond eh? You know (and I mean no offense to the guy) I never really got into his stuff that much. He always had amazing musicians on his albulms, but the falseto business was a bit much for me. I got no beef with the guy, and I don't mind listening to his stuff, but I would never go out pick up his CD. Lemmy, he's another GOD. :worship:

i thinkthe production of it is excellent. not all the songs are full out speeders but they are so damn heavy and rocking. its a must buy!!!

How pish is probot compared to when you listen to exodus. The exodus album is how metal should be done. Not Grohls pish.
Stick to yer shitey pop songs Dave!!!

Well, Exodus has had plenty of down time to figure out how to do it right, especially after that awesome "Impact is Imminent" Disc they released about 10 yrs ago. That piece of shit was quite possibly the worse album ever made......that and Simon and Garfunkels "Bridge over Troubled Water". Oh yeah, pimping aint easy. Probot is strapping on the old school......wow, I just said "strapping on"...........

Probot old school yer having a laugh mate! if u want to hear some proper old school get a swatch of Doomsday for the deceiver by Flotsam and Jetsam then you will realise how much Probot is a pile o' pish!! i dont see how you can have a good at exodus for impact. ok exodus had a couple of dodgy produced albums but what about Bonded by blood and fablous disaster???? absolute metal classics. they have done more for metal than grohl will ever do.the stuff he does with foo fighters is quite franky eh....shite. he dont belong in metal just for the reason of that shitty song learn to fly.aaaaahhhhhhrrrggggg. by tempo of the damned and then lets hear what you say

i also think he looks alike a total fud when he is playing his guitar

I've been saying it from the begining, Doomsday by Flotsam and Jetsam kicks ass!!! Exodus Rocks, Dave sucks, can't we all just get along?

If Probot's music is a pile of shit, then why did all these legendary singers agree to appear on it? They certainly don't need Dave since they've all made their own marks in the music industry. They don't need the money since they all have plenty of it. They did it because the music rocks. I can understand if it's not your cup of tea, but don't talk shit about music that includes Max, Lemmy, Kurt, King Diamond, etc., etc.

I like the Probot disc. But i like most anything Dave has done. Including his "shitey pop" songs. Exodus I loved back in the day. Bonded, Pleasures and that were great. Is the line up have all the guys. Did someone die in Exodus? I'm not really up to date on them.

Well, one of their singers did die maybe a year and a half - two years ago. But the other singer is still kicking.
