Paul Baloff (sp?) died. Steve "Zetro" Souza (sp?) is the singer now. The original guitarists and drummer are in the band now. Well, the ones from the popular line-up. Not sure who is playing bass.

I still haven´t heard the Probot stuff. But I love KING so I gotta listen to it soon. Some folks told me it´s pretty good, some told me it sucks ass, gotta listen to it and then have my own opinion.

Dave Grohl sucks ass. the guy can't sing worth a lick. Go see Foo Fighters live, he sounds like his voice is cracking, like he's going through puberty. Plus he's one of those idiots who tries too hard to prove how weird he is. It's like "I wanna be different like everybody else." I really wish I understood what the hype around him is, because I'm missing something.

no, I didn't pay to see them live. Back when they came out with their first album, they did some live shit on SNL and on MTV and all he did was scream and tell horrible jokes in between songs. It was like watching some 15 year old kid with no charisma trying to be cool. I don't know if he's improved, but from what I hear from trusted sources is that he still sucks. BTW, I agree that he's a monster on drums. I'd never take that away from him (he's still no Benante though, but no one is.)
What exactly are the requirements for belonging in metal? Oh, and he ripped shit up on the Queens of the Stone Age album too.the_walking_dude said:

Hell, Lemmy started out playing in R&B bands, I guess hes not "metal" either.....its just a one off album that has some kick ass songs on it. Dave Grohl isnt going to bring an end to the metal scene as you know it, Anthrax already did that....hahaha. Remember "Bring the Noise", the first rap-metal hybrid? Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit.....the list goes on and on. Oh, I just took a look at your profile Walking, I saw Exodus/Suicidal Tendencies/Pantera in concert while you were still getting walked to the bathroom in Elementary school. Thats Metal!!!!
