oh avi- totally unrelated- but in this weekend's trip i picked up two local winemakers' port wines. AWESOMETASTIC. one is a 5-yr vintage and the other is just lower alcohol than the usual port to have a better flavor/finish (17%).

Oh man, that warms my heart to hear about. I haven't had any port in awhile, but I just love booze. all booze. too much, in fact.

one winemaker said he drinks their port with everything, including donuts for breakfast. which i may or may not try; undecided as of yet.
