"I love these albums" pic thread

So when someone talks about "drunken Finnish wankers playing some obscure lesbian funk, singing about moomins with no butthole", you're offended if people don't instantly think about Farmakon? :D
Isn't that how every band wants to be remembered?

(Skepticism "Stormcrowfleet")
Singlehandedly defines the meaning of funeral doom.
I want more, please make some recommendations. I'll make it worth your while.

Specifically funeral doom, if you'd be so kind. I'll allow you to branch out into "general" doom too.

Umm, sorry. I forgot this thread and your request of revealing things about my bad musical tastes.

These pop to my mind:

Skepticism "Lead & Aether" (duh)
Wormphlegm "In an Excruciating Way Infested With Vermin and Violated by Executioners Who Practise Incendiarism and Desanctifying the Pious" (oh yes)
Worship "Last (Tape/Vinyl/CD) Before Doomsday"

Worship and Wormphlegm are more... eh, dirty and raw doom. Not that usual Belgian style UHUHUU BOOHOO -melancholy-poo Skepticism spawned. I don't think you can find them anywhere anymore, but if you're interested I can manage to get copies for you because I'm an evyl pirate.

Oh, some more:

Abyssic Hate "Suicidal Emotions" (Little bit Filosofem-like, and I'd recommend that also, but people don't like it when Burzum is recommended. Still, Filosofem is very bleak. Fuck the rest if you will. (I've always liked to compare Filosofem to Katatonia's Brave Murder Day to piss Windom off. But I'd compare those two otherwise too.))

Bethlehem has some very doomy songs and elements in general. But this might be a bit far fetched.

Xasthur / Acid Enema -split if more blackish elements are welcome. Maybe other Xasthur albums too, but this is my favourite.

Uh. No more. These were bad enough already. I'm not that much into funeral doom. Come to think of it, I don't think you can call any of those funeral doom.
