I need a good VST Tuner

You have reaper right? It has one, ReaTune. Works ver ywell for me. There's also one by gVST called gTune (same guys who did gclip). Also another called C Tune iirc.

Well technically you're suppose to use the 12th fret harmonic anyway. More precise (less wobble).

I pluck at the 12th often when I tune tho ! But yeah I will use the harmonic now, it makes a lot of sense. I always feared that the 12th on the high e string would be too high and fuck the tuner :/

honestly, the ampeg SVX VST has a sweet built-in strobe tuner that works for both bass and guitar

Is there a VST to translate what you play into a midi track ??

Increase the "Window size".It defines the length of time considered for its analysis, and for a very low note like dropped guitars or bass you need to increase it because the sound waves are too long to fit in. Then it works like a charm.

The lower the value, the more reactive it is. The longer, the more stable it is.

Yep. Have it - love it. I often have to tune for my clients though since they can't grasp the display and how sensitive it is. That goes for most tuning situations though. Anyway. I always use it for intonation and guitar setup as well.
