To be honest the song wasn't that horribly bad, only it's such a clear metallica MoP era ripoff that it's ridiculous, plus the solo is so completely out of place and gay sounding.

Like a lot of people I felt that the singers harsh vocals were overly harsh for the music, and those of us who felt this way let our opinions be known. He has now remedied this.

It's basically just a reaction to the song interpretations on youtube. I can imagine the Trivium guys going Hah! now you can hear what we say! Pwned noobs!
