I really think a full-length album in the vein of Odyssey would be great

Yeah, Odyssey was definitely more my style than the...shall we say, smoother, Nightingale. I liked the edge of that project, it was just enough metal while remaining still perfectly melodic. An Odyssey full length is the best news I can hope for since Edge of Sanity and Diabolical Masquerade seem truly dead.

Didn't Dan say in an interview that he had a real tough time writing the songs and he just did all that he could, which was three songs? I do agree though that this would be awesome, Odyssey is a masterpiece.

The vocal hooks were absolutely unbelievable on that album. Some of the songs were a bit too repetitive, as if to make up for the lack of a full tracklist - but man, I'd totally go for a second dose if the vocals are remotely close to the original album...

Did Dan only write one Odyssey song and that was a co-write? I'm at work so I can't check.
