I don't care for Emmure at all, but this is pretty damn catchy. Production sounds amazing, especially the bass. Them string rattles make me feel fuzzy inside (:

Damn that first song's mix sounds so weak in comparison once Joey's comes in.

The music is awful and the album art makes me feel embarrassed when it comes on my iPod (moreso than having Taylor Swift come up), but goddamn Joey's mixes have improved a lot lately. I was never a fan of his old Slate ones but every single mix he's released lately has been kick ass.

does anyone know what the drums are? they kinda sound like slate but not. i know the toms arent slate.

definitely my favourite joey production

The clips I've heard from this CD are fucking awesome. I am not a huge core-band fan, but this is actually good to me. Definitely one of Joey's best, if not the best mix he's done.

+1 I really like the high scream vocals...i would like to have an idea of the processing on that...sounds fucking pissed!

This band truly takes all the worst elements of deathcore and throws them into one package.
Production is good obviously. Not ground breaking, but Joey is certainly improving his shit, that's for sure.
Guitars could be a little darker for my tastes though.

Have to say, as far as deathcore bands go, I prefer that stuff that doesn't revolve around chugging on the bottom two strings for the entire time, like this :

Unfortunately, bands like these that can actually play seem to only make up about 0.000001 per cent of the genre lul

I fucking HATE the attitude of that band!
But honestly - the mix sound great. The whole ambience kinda reminded me of the Deftones (and ONLY the atmosphere - NOT the music!!!).

The rest of the album has leaked on youtube. Probably the best thing Emmure has done, even though that's not saying much. There's a few tracks that I can honestly say are pretty decent "songs", but there's still a lot of filler songs/breakdowns.

Production is fantastic though, defiantly my favorite by Sturgis. Drums and vocals are a stand out for me, so clean and HUGE!
