I Think Disturbed is Good, So Sue Me!

C'mon! Down With The Sickness, Voices and Stupify are GOOD songs! Now don't get me wrong, ALOT(99%) of Nu-metal/Mallcore is COMPLETE AND UTTER, BORING, MUDDY, LIFELESS, UNCREATIVE TRASH! But Disturbed actually has good songs!Who else likes them? Don't be afraid!

They have some decent stuff. Really simplistic, but that's not inherently a bad thing. I'd never hold them in the same regard as much more technical bands like Pain of Salvation, Symphony X, Evergrey, or the like (can you tell I like prog?), but I can appreciate their stuff for what it is. I don't always need my music to be technically challenging or intellectually complex. Sometimes I just wanna hear simple, mindless jams. Disturbed falls into that category for me. A tune like Stupify or Prayer can be good for cranking in the car when you're driving too fast.

Personally, I can't stand the monkey-style vocals at the start of Down With The Sickness, which also shits me off.

Numetal isn't all bad, I agree.

disturbed have some great stuff yeh, especially off their older album and a few off of belive but the band has been put down generally at the moment becuase of being classed as nu metal, but that doesnt exactly make it a bad band at all, they have some great songs such as sickness, shout 2000, prayer etc. bands like disturbed, korn etc have been put down excessively for having nu metal titles and possibly due to the fact they are quite widely commercialised but being commercialised shows they are successful, not bad. exceptions go to good charlotte and blink 182 which suck shist being commercialised blending pop with a bit of rock and becing famous for it creating new images among youngsters

I think that Mudvayne are superior to Disturbed.
Even though that the guitarist (from Mudvayne) sucks, the other guys are talented, esp. the bassist.
They should get a new guitarist and make some prog. metal instead.
But LD50 is a good one though.

Distrubed is a load of talentless crap as is most nu metal. They ride the low string and use natural harmonics to try and make the music sound evil along with the singer that thinks his band is the heaviest and most evil alive. They are pathetic and boring and need to be castrated, shot in the knee caps, and then cruicified.

I love Nickel Creek! Sweet Bluegrass Traditional Country sound.

I think the reason that we all dislike them so much isn't because they can't play their instruments. Who gives a shit about a shitty band anyway? It's because they can't play their instruments, AND they're fucking rich. They take the place of bands with loads of talent, just because those bands aren't mainstream.

Think about it. Are you really pissed off at the band, or the fans for liking them so much? It's like watching sheep jump off a cliff.

MuDvAyNe are superior to Disturbed, and every other 'nu-metal' band. The guitarist is of 20 years learning; MuDvAyNe just don't write guitar virtuoso, that's all. I've got Live Dosage and if I remember correctly, he doesn't even look at his fretboard once in the hour or so they play, which may indicate how effortlessly he can play his role.
