i think i'll borrow my dad's johnny horton cd for the trip home today

i used to get sick of his music on family trips back in the late 80's but i find myself strangely attracted to his songs again and i have been listening to the cd alot the last couple days.

favorite songs are Springtime in Alaska(its 40 Below), All For the Love of a Girl, Battle of New Orleans, Honky Tonk Man, and Baby I'm Ready If You're Willing.

you are really dipping into some fairly obscure oldies now! but I know what you mean about hearing stuff through your dad. my dad used to play Duane Eddy and lots of old bluegrass stuff.
