They recorded a single in my dad's old studio in our basement in roughly 1994... Which is very, very much in Connecticut. They are as much from Connecticut as a band can be.

My buddy Mick who plays guitar in Orthrelm grew up in the same town in CT that Hatebreed is from. I was pretty shocked when he told me about that since he's one of the least thuggish people I know and he HATES hardcore. He played guitar on their first demo and was only in the band because he thought it was funny when people would go nuts at shows stage-diving and whatnot.
