Hehe im kinda a sucker for melodic pop-punk/metal riffs.

the thing I noticed was.. dont know if its just me but the second chord at the intro at 0:03 seemed kinda out of tune.. but it might just be my ears playing a trick a on me.

The melody in the "verse" needs to be more focused and strong.. this one had kinda a "noodling" around vibe.. This is IMO of course

First Chord is an A Major, and your mind is probably just to used to hearing the casual progression to an E major (followed by F# Minor and D Major)

Here, the A is followed by a G#+5, which I personally like! It's also quite common to use, but not as common as the progression I mentioned before hehe.
Anyways, sounds sweet. Casual but sweet.
