I'll agree with ya fully on Eagle Cries. It sucks. But as far as Testament. I love em. But I think the newwer stuff isnt really all that good. Low.... I only really enjoy the title track.... Since they turned more death metal I think the songwriting has suffered a lot. But it is to be expected. They've been pumping out a lot of great stuff for years.

The Gathering has some definite death metal tendencies (like the chaotic riffage in Legions of the Dead), but is a thrash album at the core, really.

How can you not like "Hail Mary"? I just don't get it, man...

But yeh, The Legacy rules all.
