and the website for the above "Granda" is no real help to me heh

Tónlistarþróunarmiðstöðin úti á Granda is a place not very far from the city center of Reykjavik. The address of the place is Hómaslóð 2 (Holmaslod 2). There is a map of this here:

Bus number 2 stops right in front of this place... don't worry that you'll miss the stop, since it's at the very end of the bus route

I figure I get to downtown Rek, I can always find some cabbie and show him the addy

Evildead don´t take a cab they're expensive, just go to the center and have a map of the city center ( you can get one in a tourist info site for free I think)

You can see Smiðjustígur (abreviated Smiðjust.) The street where Grandrokk is in the upper left of this pic ( not the best pic but I couldn´t find another one)

If you don´t find it just walk the main shopping street Laugavegur and after a little walk you will find the street to the left. Grandrokk has a woonen fence in the front and is next to the irish bar the Celtic cross

FUUUUCK! That was a weekend!!!!! Iceland ruled ... the second show was the smelliest show EVER haha! We had our fun!!! After Show Partys at Nellies RULES And Norwegian Girls do it better ...! I went to the Grandrokk show and it was good, the mosh pit was active. Before the show I was peeing with the bass player and singer and trying to say something in swedish. Guitarist Olavi was very drunk during the trip I heard. Nelly's kind of sux
