there's also the absolutely unique Berliner Weiss, a beer with raspberry or mint syrup drank with a straw. strange concept but it grows on you. lovely on a summer day on the Ku-damm.

the kurfurstendamm is one of Berlin's main roads, it runs by the Kaiser Wilhelm memorial. along the road are numerous outdoor cafes where you can sit at a table like the two above, drink like a fish, and people watch.
