If Opeth played my birthday I would have to invite all my metal friends of course, bar the doors and not let Opeth out until they played their entire catalogue..lol.. :D

Wouldn't that rock! I would have to video tape every minute of it and make it available to all the fans. :headbang: :kickass:

If you get to pick the set list how would it ever be topped? No concert you ever see after it would be ever match up. But hey who cares? I mean you actually get to pick their set list :)

1. Advent

3. Drapery Falls
4. The Twilight is my Robe
5. Wreath
6. In my Time of Need

9. GodHeads Lament
10. The Apostle in Truimph

They would then get to take a little break and come back and finish the concert with:

In Mist She Was Standing
The Moor
Funeral Portrait
Advent
Under the Weeping Moon
Godheads Lament

Encore... All of Orchid and Morningrise! All the way through!

to change it up a bit:
whenever the wife is listening to say, norah jones, i like to think, "what would this sound like if opeth covered it?" so, id have to ask them to cover, in any fashion they wanted, a bunch of songs by trendy (but talented) bands.....

"and now we'll move on to the really heavy stuff: this next one is called 'bigger than my body'...."

ps: i await the flames....
