No fucking question whatsoever - OVERKILL. M.O.D. are a novelty act - a good one, but they're nowhere near as talented, experienced, or entertaining as Overkill. Blitz is one of the best singers in thrash, and their drummer Tim Mallare is an extremely underrated performer. They have not made a SINGLE bad album, with their worst (Under the Influence and The Killing Kind) being merely mediocre with a handful of very good tracks on each one; the really good ones (The Years of Decay, Horrorscope, Killbox 13 and I Hear Black) are fucking BRILLIANT pieces of metal. Not even close, in my mind - M.O.D. may be amusing and have some fun songs, but Overkill are the most consistently awesome band this side of Judas Priest.

For me it all depends on which albums youre talking about or which songs theyd be playing live. They both have stuff I think rules and they both have stuff, that well......well lets just leave it at that.

Overkill! They're my second favourite band (guess who's first). MOD's ok and pretty funny, but compared to Kill- blows by all means

DE, do you just have some sort of vendetta against Overkill that makes you want to post poll after poll until SOMEBODY beats them? Did Bobby and DD beat you up and steal your lunch money or something?

MOD are ok but nothing special. IMO MOD loses by far not until due to the fact that Billy Milano is a fat stupid bastard ... just remember his shit talking relating to Tom Morello and Serj Tankian voicing their anti war opinion in the Iraq question.

No I do not have a vendetta, Overkill won the poll over Nuclear Assault, & now in this round they are up against M O D, if they win again(which looks like the case), then I'll match them with another East Coast Thrash band, & so on til there's an East Coast Champ.

Relevant in your world maybe, not mine. I for one think M O D has had some great albums(the first 2 are great), & they put on a great live show, as well as some funny lyrics. I was lucky enough to be on tour with them on their first album tour(M O D For USA) with Exodus, & they were very well recieved, & headlined over Exodus.........Maybe M O D, has watered itself down some over the years, but a putrid pile is not a defining definition........Who knows DC, you saw The Haunted once, & never have seen Carnal Forge, but can judge their(both) live shows by just that one experience......? I don't think thats too relevant of an evaluation................

Hey DE....If you actually READ all my posts on the Haunted thread you will see I never once claimed to have seen em both nor did I ever make a case for Carnal Forge live. I did say, however, That on album Carnal Forge comes accross better to me than the Haunted. The only ref. I made to live was saying that I saw The Haunted twice and they didnt do much for me in the live setting......so if you are gonna accuse me of an irrelevant view....at least read what I typed and dont twist it so its easier for you to talk down to me.........
