I like the album as a whole but feel that The Adversary was a stronger record. I saw an interview where he said what was used, I will try to dig it up

Good stuff, but I prefer the first one.
I read in a french magazine that he used his Ibanez guitars and Cubase for recording, that's all that I know.

Yeah, when Asgeir Mickelson was still in Borknagar (he left the band a few months ago), I got a thread started where he told me a bit (not much) about his gear:

That said, I'm not too keen on the drum production on AngL. The snare sounds bad, I agree. For the best drum sound Asgeir has achieved so far, get Scariot's "Momentum Shift" and Borknagar's "Epic".

To be sincere, i like very much this album but i prefer The Adversary too..... but i think the guitar tone is better in that one.... i didn't like the bass and snare.... :S
