standadized tests are pretty ridiculously ghey and mean fuckall once you get out in the real world. The older you get, the more you come to realize all the bs.

That being said, I scored 1300 something or other on SAT. I was hungover and it was ghey,.

you know personally i love standardized tests because, i don't know what yours test but ours are pretty impossible to study for (i mean you can study the individual subjects if you want but there's no telling exactly what will turn up on the test) and they include english & swedish reading comprehension, word knowledge, maths, logic etc. and so because my grades at school were sometimes rather shit, i love the högskoleprov because it allowed me a chance to prove that despite occassionally failing at school, i'm not fucking stupid. i just can't study properly. so this test result alone is what landed me in the sound engineering thing i study now.

i'm sure standardized tests don't mean much in the real world but at least they test ACTUAL KNOWLEDGE/INTELLIGENCE, i.e. ability for logical thought, unlike most tests/exams in school where you just try to remember formulas and years of birth and various useless info in your head that you will forget as soon as the test is done -- these shitz only test ability to cram useless/useful info into your head. i have NONE of that

I scored lights out until I got to the math section and then I was like a complete tard. good thing real life doesn't require anything more than remedial math.

I still take pride in my 1340 SAT (don't remember offhand how it broke down, except that the verbal was higher...I had no problem with math in school, but dreaded those classes anyway), but I agree that tests mean very little in the long run and graduating with distinction is a much greater achievement...

I took the GRE a few years back. Unpleasant, let me tell you. Nothing worse than taking a standardized test when you no longer have to.

haha yeah I did this too, when I was getting bored with life. I don't remember my math/reading score but I do remember getting a 6/6 on the essay portion.

Either way I never even bothered finishing my grad school applications, fuck it.

Lower overall grade though mr had to do completive (is that a word) crap for a year before moving to piteå and failing all courses for crap reasons

drivers lisence, last crap to pass 345 courses
