Just make sure you get yourself a good spot when trout season reopens , because every man and his dog would be throwing lines the first weekend heh heh .
I go floundering when I have time , got the whole set up with the spear , now thats metal !!!!
I took a mate of mine ages ago and as part of an initiation I grabbed hold of a banjo shark and threw it at him , fucken hell , he ran ontop of the water like Jesus yelling "fuck this shit" in the middle of the night and we were actually over 2-300 metres away from the shoreline on low tide , it was gold.
Seen many sea snakes as well , but they get spooked by the light , overall its mega fun and probably a more productive way to fish if you can handle the cold and walking in water at night.
Used to go spearfishing as well , but gotta get a boat , to get to a spot I know I definately need a nice boat , but once there it is awesome , plus the scenery underwater is great
The big Aussie Salmon are starting to go apeshit again down here , so I'm definately going to prepare the surf rods for that , it should be great , taking a small smoker with me as well for a fresh catch.
Fucken carp are a mega pest , nevertheless great sport on a small nibble tip rod heh heh
Cheers..........Chris

I trout fish, exclusivey in the Eucemebene and Thredbo rivers. I am elitist like that, I am heading down to the victorian alps when the season reopens to try some of them. Fishing is fucking awesomely metal.
I occasionly "fish" for carp in carnberra's lakes. By "fish" I mean burleying up, getting a shit load in one spot then chucking a throw net over them and killing them. Carp are fucking crap.
