Finishing off work in five minutes, then heading to the My Chemical Romance/ Everytime I Die concert.

Both bands sucked badly. And the audience did too. Wearing neither eyeliner, nor a perfectly styled fringe, I felt totally in the wrong place between all these emokids. The moment I noticed that Heartagram HIM patch on the backpack of the girl in front of me, I wanted to throw up. The singers should have concentrated more on their job, rather than on yelling the word fuck in all possible variations about a hundred times. When we left the venue, there were daddies waiting outside to pick up their kiddies... The only one of us who enjoyed the concert was that 19-year-old Irish dude. The rest of us just enjoyed making fun of the emokid clones around us.
I'm getting old.

Nah, emo kids ruin everything. Including the bands they enjoy.

I'm lucky, the two borderline emos I like... I can drag them back to metal through my "Aura of Headbang" and its great. Cause then they join me and its fun.

When i'm not around, then they are annoying and emo, I'm just glad I don't have to deal with them.

Because I got a ticket for my birthday. I actually quite enjoy My Chemical Romance on CD. But live... never again. :Smug:

Even though I'll get flamed for saying this, but there is a handful of decent emo bands out there. It's the same as with Opeth: The fanboys give the music a bad rep.
