Doctor told me I had major depression issues and put me on lexapro. I think when they took my blood pressure and saw that it had risen like 50 digits since August I wasn't just there to bum some Xanex. Doctors rule.

I've NEVER known any of them to be drunk or high on the job. They have to unwind too you know.Metal Maiden said:As a mother who just dropped her daughter off at school, Thank you. That makes me feel just great. :Smug:
I think as long as you're not getting your students drunk in class and you can get them out of a burning building if you have to, it's okay. I'd be worried if teachers didn't have some sort of social outlet.TD said:It's always amazed me how it's "OK" for policemen, judges, and attorneys to be found in bars, but a teacher "NO WAY!"
I hear ya man. Teachers of all people deserve it. They should have special parking places up front at bars if you ask me.TD said:It's always amazed me how it's "OK" for policemen, judges, and attorneys to be found in bars, but a teacher "NO WAY!"

To each their own man. If you can pull it off without chemical assistance then more power to ya.tattooedsean666 said:no offense as there are sometimes really tough things in life that can get people down but I find it that people are seriously weak if they have to resort to alcohol, cigs, weed, or any other drugs to "help" them out.
I have it as tough as anyone else. I work at a company that stresses maximum output, have had relatives die in past years, haven't had a relationship in a couple of years but I find much more useful healthy ways of relieving stress or any form of depression I might temporarily go into.
