Thats my hometown so i'd love to go, unfortunately its during the middle of the week, and its a six hour drive each way and i cant miss any school. Ill catch D666 in New York, and I saw VR a couple months ago.

It's fucking $14! You know what was the best thing I ever got for $14? A new set of elixir strings. This beats the fuck out of changing guitar strings on a floyd rose.

Changing strings on a Floyd Rose is easy.

It's pretty easy anyway, but adjusting the springs can be a pain in the ass sometimes. Of course, if you tune to E with .009s, then it shouldn't be a problem all the way to B with .013s. However, let's say you wanna use .010s for E, then you'll probably have to adjust the springs if you still want your bridge to float. I personally can't stand tuning to E with.009s...sounds like a rubber band.

Even then it's still easy, though. I know lots of guitarists who take their guitars to a fucking luthier to change their strings; not to adjust the truss rod or anything, just to change strings.

They should have their guitars smashed if they can't change their own strings.

Well, as long as you replace the strings with the same gauge, you don't have to worry about adjusting the springs.
