Makes no sense. They will play most of their stuff from Flies and Lies and prolly 1 or 2 from their first release. Not only will it be their latest release, but it is the sole reason they are on the bill.

Flies and Lies wasnt out when they were added on?? I doubt they sent Glenn the CD 5-6 months in advance, if its even made then...

They did.

For the record, I think Flies and Lies is pretty generic and average at best, but that's for another topic.

I have to disagree with this statement...Flies and Lies is by far one of the best records i have ever heard. Its been in my cd player since march, and every day it gets spun. Every song on this release is a killer and very catchy.

But onto the real topic of this thread...

I can see why people would like it and it isn't a bad disc by any means. However, I listen to a lot of the power metal w/harsh vocals style that Raintime plays (Bodom, Norther, Skyfire, etc) and this album is just more of the same IMO. I'm still very excited to see this type of band at PP though and I'm looking forward to their performance.

Its pretty subpar considered to their ST imo. They were kinda an Into Eternity clone I thought, which is fine with me...and then Flies and Lies is like the old stuff, but the farther the CD goes the stuff reminds of me metalcore band Unearth, very saddened bc Tales from Sadness rocks.
