I'm The Man Live

Twice. I've seen them play I'm The Man live twice. And those were the only times I saw Anthrax with Joey.
They have never played I'm The Man since John has been with them, at least not the other 4 times that I've seen them live.
I missed the Vol. 8 tour, damnit. I heard about that concert the day after it happened. But I doubt they played I'm The Man on that tour.
I think they would have played I'm The Man if Joey was on the Killer A's tour. That would have been cool!

Let me bring you up to date, Anthrax pretty much always plays this song live, and yes they played it live when I say them with Public Enemy, & Primus.

Let me bring you up to date. They did not play it live from 1993 up to and including 1997. It was brought back on the Volume 8 tour.

ohhh, you are correct! I forgot about the drumming! No Joey, no song. So does John B play the drums now that they have added the song to the list again?

Charlie plays the drums. John, Frank and Scott share vocals. They cut the song down pretty short. Frank and Scott don't even bother taking their axes off. I can't remember if Scott actually plays his guitar or not. Plus they obviously cut the references to Joey and Danny.

They started to play it in Cincy in early '98 (before Vol. 8, after Pantera) and promptly stopped because to quote Scott "John doesn't know it" John was promptly belted with a beer can!! But John didn't get pissed, it was fucking funny: Scott said "Man, they hate you now, they are throwing beer at you *he then picks up the can* not just any beer, but cheap nasty beer" They added to the "old school medley" on the tour of terror, basically playing the first couple of verses and the chorus before playing part of "Time," and "Armed and Dangerous."

My two cents...saw them play it on State of Euphoria tour opening for Ozzy (and Public Enemy tour) Public Enemy tour was a trip. I saw it at Fox theatre in Detroit and sat in the balcony for PE and it was mainly of African-American heritage. But after the set security wouldn't let me go on the floor for Anthrax. Every other Anthrax song someone would grab me and say "I can't believe I'm here watching this but its cool" or something to that extent. Had to be there I guess.

Hi! I saw "I'm the man" live in october '98. It's not the same without Belladonna behind the drum-kit and the "Joey f**k up"screams. Or "Joey fu***d up already!"
