hey, Got told one of the questions thats coming uo for my next exam( doing Video and sound techniology-this is for Digital Audio)

Thought I might get a few idea's for answers and it could spark a bit of discussion here.

Its "discuss the need for proper planning and scheduling of work when setting up and wiring a studio or fitting/modding equipment"

what do you guys think? i've been looking on threads here like Eddyrawmachines one on his studio's and i've gotten a few ideas.

plan for it to take for ever, to smoke alot of ciggarettes and to swear after hitting your head on the console for the 21st time that day

The question is so varied and large I was having a hard time getting it on paper. Basically what'll happen if you don't plan.

like I say it was for an exam, got just over 2 pages out of it, it was only a small part- 8 of the 100 marks over 2 and a half hours. I think it went really well anyway.

I thought it might spark some discussion about planning certain aspects or people might chime in with a few stories of shit that went wrong for them and stuff.

Guess not...

you see its not whether to do it or not, it was give reasons on why its so important to do- like what could go wrong, what kind of damage could happen if because of bad/no planning you wired stuff wrong. That the kinda of stuff I was looking for.
I didn't make the question, the lecturer did.
