Always Somewhere!
My friend Kyra was a great rocker...we've gone to some great shows together..Damn I can't believe it's been six years...chicka you come with us to the Bon Jovi show..mmmmkay?!?!!

I wrote this for her and read it at the services.......

FOREVER LOVED

Never have I met a maiden so fair
with sunsets and fire that dance in her hair.
Alabaster skin so soft to the touch
the kind of personality that makes you love her so much.

The fun we've had through the years gone by
all the memories, how we've laughed and we've cried.
Remember the night of the Aerosmith show?
Dude! How we screamed for more rock-r-roll!

The time at the beach, wine coolers in hand
the sound of the waves, our toes in the sand.
At the parties, the hang-outs, the club and the scenes,
Oh, I don't have to tell you...you know what I mean.

Now things are changing, angels await in the sky
they've given you wings, and it's your turn to fly.
Soar to the heavens now, to stars that shine above
but know this to be true,
You are forever loved.

Wow! Ditto what SB said. It is tough to lose a good friend. It's been almost 15 years since I lost the best friend I ever had. The one thing that I can still remember plainly is his laugh. We laughed a lot.

As long as someone utters my name and recall my face I will not be dead.

True friendship is forever.

Peace.

In Agreement with Pabla .... Thats Beautiful!

I'm quite sure she's up there partying with Z. Thanks you all, it's tough on everyone to lose a friend or family member...as long as they remain in our hearts and on our minds they'll never 'leave' us.

@ Pabla, I'm quite sure she'd like those smirnoff ice's :tickled:

I haven't seen my dead buddy Neil for ten years, not in flesh and blood anyway. But I often see him in my mind and in my heart. Seldom does a week go by that I don't think of him in one form or another.

Awesome poem, Kitty. Here's to Kyra and Neil! :kickass:

Great poem Kristy !!
Here's a pic of my long gone grandma. She was the only one that could see through my long hair and metal outfit, to see the person underneath, the only one that judged me on my personality, not looks! Most lovely and warm person I ever knew !! Oh, yeah, that's me on the pic too!!

That's a great pic Carnut. Grandmas are the best. My two couldn't have been more different but both were always so accepting just like yours.
