I picked up a pretty good magazine today.
Classic Rock/Metal Hammer's 1970s issue.
In it are:
Top 200 albums of the 70s broken down year by year...
Two different articles about Led Zeppelin IV
An interview with Glenn Hughes and David Coverdale about The California Jam
An interview with Ozzy about 70s Sabbath
An article about Dark Side of the Moon
An interview with Ian Anderson (Tull) about the 70s
An article about 70s Judas Priest
An article about Uriah Heep
An article about 70s Rush
...plus other bands like Kiss etc.
Plus articles concerning different genres, ala metal, jazz rock, aor, prog, country rock, power pop, etc. even punk.
Plus there are little cool articles like, "best album covers," and just tons of stuff. It's the funnest magazine I've bought in awhile.
It's populated throughout with strictly 70s pictures of all the above mentioned bands. There is an 80s issue too, but I haven't seen it yet.
