I voted Nile since it's the only one I've heard. Don't want to hear the rest of that crap.

I soooo expected this answer from you. :tickled:

I think the Hate Eternal is quite good though. Erik Rutan has taken elite death metal to the next level. And yes, it may be furious as fuck, but there actually are some new elements to be found on the new cd.

One thing me and my buddy were discussing the other day though... he seems to be on an "all powerful" trip, judging by the titles of all of HE's cds, either that or he's out to prove he is raising the bar more than Trey Azagthoth and Morbid Angel.

"Conquering the Throne"
"King of All Kings"
"I, Monarch"

Hmmmm...

well considering arch enemy and opeth aren't out yet, but i expect to be disappointed by both :erk: ...i'll go with nile, which kicks arse

Arch Enemy is out.... on sale at Best Buy $9.99... massive displays of it in front of store.

And no, I did not buy one... haven't cared for them much for quite some time.

And I figure lots have already heard the new Opeth, so....

ah, did it come out yesterday? the one i'm really excited about is...PELICAN! yesss, new one came out yesterday, going to pick up my copy at work today. bitchin'.

Ulver for now, but that may change when TGE carves up my headphones for the first time later tonight...and did it ever. Their most technical songwriting since POE, a healthy dose of DNB's bleakness, and Dead Heart's razor sharp precision...the perfect Nevermore experience. Not ready to call it their best yet, but it's right up there.

have yet to hear any of these albums. jesus people, im still buying shit that came out in the 90s. fuck, the 80s for that matter.

There are only two decent words on this entire damn poll. King and Crimson.
