Well, In Flames fans that want the old melodic death better look elsewhere and throw in that Jester Race CD again... But this isn't what you want.

I however, really enjoy what I've heard and I'm definitely happy with it. Can't wait to get the rest of the album.

I've just heard the quiet place and its very weird. It sounds like a cross between Katatonia and korn. The guitars arn't bluesy at all. Its just a totally different sound.

Ive just heard Borders and Shading. Sounds like something off RTR nothing special and very predictable. The riff is quite nice. Production sounds like AOR from Arch Enemy. Very weak "solo". Common Inflames you can do better than this!

Touch Of Red is boring. Honestly can't say anything else about this song.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm finding "Touch Of Red" to be fucking awesome...The Quiet Place is good, but not amazing at all. Borders And Shading is inbetween the other two...prety damn cool.

I'm a huge In Flames fan......actually I practically worship them, but I think I'd be lying if I didn't say I was a little bit dissappointed by these songs...

Still looking forward to the rest of the album though.
