wondering if anyone has any info/videos/interviews that deal specifically with the latest all that remains production... a lot of my heavier recordings sound just like it, so im curious what sorta budget and equipment is involved compared to mine. i charge 1500 for a full cd, and it sounds just like it. im sure adam d charges a lot more.

i heard ross robinson's minimum is $250,000.00 O_O

i dont have anything spectacular up, some things are out of my hands, but the 4 songs i have up on the studio profile are pretty strong in sonic character, i believe.

no my rates arent changing
dude, your rates are whacked. mixing $5 or $10 per song. i would definetly up the rate. your work shouldnt be given away like that. i would think about a fair day rate. it works well for me and most studios out there. the more i charge the more work i seem to get, go figure. also if you charge more youll have more to invest in the studio and do better sounding recordings and the you can charge more. i just think you shouldnt give your work away.

im already making good sounding recordings (and by this i mean, i dont think its gonna get much better than this without moving up in the price range of 10 grand or more for equipment to get better sound)
and my rates are competitive, along with my work
listen to the mixes, they're worth way more than what i charge, and thats the point, we put out quality work at cheap rates

giving my work away? i can't remember the last time i didnt have any money...

no offense intended. i think the work you are doing with the gear you have is worth more than what you are charging. if you charge more, then you can spend more on gear, or put money away for slow times or go on vacation or whatever. it sounds like you should be charging more. people will come to you for what your recordings sound like, not because you are cheap. all i am saying is, you deserve a raise.

Damn, this shit sounds good. I need to keep you in mind when we finally get ready to record. Were only located a couple hours from you (were in Fort Wayne).

Keep up the good work! And don't change your rates! Hahah.

Cool, cool.

I don't know when the hell were going to try and record, but I know we had talked about January. But from the look of things your pretty full. Though we really only want to record a 6-7 song EP. That couldn't take more than a couple days(?). Haha. I'll be in touch.
