hi guys, i made an updated mix of my previous post. drums were recorded in a proper studio. everything else was recorded with a zoom g2.1nu effect processor.

Not shabby! I think the guitars are too loud though, and the playing is a little loose in a few parts too. Snare drum could probably use some more volume in a lot of spots.. Nice work so far though!

do you think i could snip off a little presence of the guitars or would it be best to just lower it on the fader?

they didnt use a metronome when they tracked drums... they did it in a separate studio

I'm not a pro at this kind of thing, or even mediocre, but depending on what kind of quality you're looking for, you could always just time-stretch bits of the guitars until they're tight with each other, bounce that whole guitar mix out, and then rinse & repeat the editing by matching the guitar track with the drums..

(Or, for all I know, that could be terrible advice. Hopefully someone here who knows there shit is watching and ready to pimp slap me if I'm wrong.)
