2006 promises to become a exciting year for EVERGREY. Before the metal band from Sweden will take off with their forthcoming new album "Monday Morning Apocalypse" at the end of March, they won their first laurels for past successes: With their live DVD "A Night To Remember" released last year which was received with much enthusiasm by fans and media, Tom Englund and his band mates were nominated for a Swedish Grammy (www.grammis.se). At the presentation of prizes on February 7th there are acts such as Opeth, Meshuggah, Candlemass, and Hammerfall nominated in other categories. And only in Sweden, there is a Everygrey single released on March 6th. On the day after the release the band plays a one off gig for fans and the press in the London venue The Underground. Their debut album which was released three years ago came as a real bombshell just to stay in the context. Because this band project with super group potential got its name from an unfortunate secret service agency founded back in 2001 by the US Department of Defense. STREAM OF PASSION, Ayreon mastermind Arjen Anthony Lucassen's band around Mexican singer Marcela Bovio will do an European tour at the end of January. They will perform material of their debut album "Embrace The Storm" which came out in October as well as selected Ayreon songs. And special guest is: Damian Wilson (formerly with Threshold). On February 10th the single "Out In The Real World" is released. Apart from an edit of the album?s title track the single also includes two re-arranged Ayreon songs as well as the Led Zep cover version "When The Levee Breaks". www.streamofpassion.com

Due to time problems with the final mix, the release of the new VANDEN PLAS album had to be postponed."Christ 0" ("Christ Zero") comes out at the end of April.
