Katagory V have posted the full-length version of ‘Will You Remember’ on the bands website. You can download the song in its entirety - in CD quality - from the bands download section of the website.

The band had posted several short clips from the new album on the website several months ago when it was announced that the new album was completed. They had also posted a poll to which clips from the upcoming album that their fans felt they liked the most. “We decided that whichever song got the most votes; we would post the full-length version of it online once the new album release date was announced.” Says Dustin, “Now that the new album is coming out, we have removed the short clips on the website in favor of one full-song for everyone to check out. Surprisingly enough, we thought everyone would pick one of the more thrashy, old-school songs, but we seemed to have underestimated our fans! ‘Will You Remember’ was the one that everyone seemed to like the most, thus is now the full length song available on our site.”

The band has posted the song on the website to coincide with the recent
announcement of the new albums release, slated for a release April 25th
2006, on Nightmare Records worldwide.

A big thanks to Katagory V webmaster, Jens - for getting things set up so
quickly!

Although this isn’t really Katagory V related…

As you all know - Sheri (my wife) takes care of sending out the newsletters
to you all, however – she has been relaxing recently, due to giving birth to
our first child! So I’m taking over for moment. ;-)

=====================================

January 2nd

After several months of silence, Katagory V finally announce the release date for their latest album, "The Rising Anger"

According to Katagory V, Nightmare Records has green-lighted the official release date for the bands long awaited third effort, "The Rising Anger", which is now slated for worldwide release via the label on April 25h 2006!

In the last few months, the band has been busy performing live (including the recent Monsters of Metal show with Helstar and Agent Steel) and finalizing details concerning the new album. According to bassist Dustin Mitchell, the band is excited to see the light at the end of the long two year tunnel. "We've worked extremely hard the last two years on making sure this album was done properly - from writing it to recording it - and with the help of Nightmare Records (www.nightmare-records.com), we anticipate this release to be the album metal fans around the world have been wanting to hear since the very beginning, especially for fans of Katagory V who have followed us since the early days. We are certain they will not be disappointed!" He continues, "This is the album we've wanted to do since day one, and it's amazing to hear the final results and be 100% happy with how it has turned out. Granted, we feel the process for getting this album complete took far longer than it should have. However, we're extremely excited to see it come full circle now and we anticipate this album to be well worth the wait."

The band currently has no plans to perform live until after the new album is released, but they have hinted at the planning of a possible CD release party to coincide with the release. It hasn't been made clear at this time whether it will strictly be a listening/release party or if they will perform live. More details to come soon.
