Hmmm. Just thought I'd throw this at you guys. the first thing I though of when the drums kick in with the riff in St.Anger, I just thought 'Inside out' . And about an hour later my mate came round and said that riff wise it reminded him of WCFYA (although he has only heard it at my house)
And when I saw MTVIcon the intro to Frantic made me think What doesn't die. coincidence? or are Metallica getting rich rippin' off Anthrax *foresees the whole Fuel/Fueled debate returning if anyone can be arsed with this thread....Christ am I bored*

here, try this..

listen to the beginning riff of st. anger (and when they start jammin out)

and then listen to the last 1 1/2 minutes of This Is Not An Exit... the st. anger riff is pretty much identical (tallica couldve at least named the song This Is Not Original)

and ur not the first person ive heard talk about Frantic/WDD

Metallica's originality has been dead for a long time. When I first saw there video for "Fuel" I just about dumped a trouser loaf. I was thinking to my self, "They ripped off the mighty 'Thrax". Same video....those bastards!!

Alas, greatness will always be pilfered!
