An interesting story on this one. First off, Kurt was able to shuffle his schedule around at the last minute so all five of us made it up to manchester last night. When we get there we see lots of people carrying gear into the place. There were actually three other bands already there, none of which were the one we were supposed to be opening for. Eventually that band does show up, so there are five bands at the place now. It turns out that the band we were opening for booked the show through a booking agent who no longer works for this club. The new agent knew nothing about it, so he booked three other bands for the same night.
Well, long story short, we didn't play last night. Hopefully with the short notice not many of you traveled up there expecting to see us. If you did, at least you got to see three other bands.
It wasn't a total waste though. The clubs new booking agent represents a few clubs in the town. We gave him a press pack, and hopefully we'll end up playing manchester for real in the near future.
