Lead tone is excellent for the style, like an up-to-date version of Becker's Perpetual Burn tone.
Drums can still come up more though.

This is actually the final mix, I wrote this song for a Berklee College of Music contest for high school students, and it's already been submitted. That's the reason that it was so blatantly overplayed, I usually don't play guitar in this style haha, I was just aiming to impress. Definitely agree that I should have brought the drums up higher though
