Interest in European Lifestyles

One thing is that metal fans on the continent know how to dress. It's properly metal. The U.K is full of yuppies and posers. :(

Ever given a thought about metal culture in India?

I saw that Sam Dunn here in Bangalore during Iron Maiden's gig here, so I'm assuming there'll be a dissection of metal 'culture' here soon....

That said, this applies to me very little, for don't dress like a rock/metal fan, and it's probably the last genre of music people guess I would like.
a lot of people say that about me when we get to talking to musical taste/interests.

and yeah, the way religion still seems to have a hold on our society's values definitely effects how people view us here vs in europe where that stuff is more lax.

go figure. you can write all kinds of songs glorifying gang violence, thug life, and degredation of women and as long as you set it to a phat beat and give out props to our lord and savior jesus christ, you're a-okay!*

*-yes, i know i'm the whitest thing ever. the whole double-standard just pisses me the hell off.

not nearly as much as double impact, though.

I'm moving to mainland Europe as soon as I can.

The UK is essentially the shit of the Europe.

My Swedish experience was a 50/50 split of rock/metallers to non-rock/metallers. The two groups didn't really mix, but because it was so even, nobody batted an eye lid. In some respects it was very refreshing.

That said, this applies to me very little, for don't dress like a rock/metal fan, and it's probably the last genre of music people guess I would like.

Hey what's Sweden like? Shit? Gay? Awesome?

I hear Glam Rock/Metal is pretty popular over there, that's awesome.
