Interesting article on Phase Inverter Tubes

Thought someone might find it interesting. He recommends Sovtek 12AX7LPS. FWIW that is what was in my 6505 when I bought it new. I swapped it out for a JJ. Might have to try it again.

I would take anything written by a groove tube employee with a grain of salt....
Has some good points in theory, but saying that a 12at7 sound horrible in V1 is his opinion along with a lot of other things he said.
