It doesnt exactly suck. It is better than 99% of CD shops in the world, but it isnt as good as it used to be.

The second hand vinyl section at Utopia is awesome. When I was there last I got "Tooth and Nail" by Dokken, "Van Halen", and Saxon's "The Power and the Glory" all for $20.

Heartland Records in Melb is very good for vinyls and rare stuff in general, but I haven't been there in ages, as Metal Mayhem is better for just albums and common stuff, and that is all I am usually after.

It doesn't cost that much. A frame that size would only cost about $20 or so.

Radical Records is my favourite. It has a VERY cheap 2nd hand vinyl section (with mainly obscure glam, hard rock & AOR albums), a cheap 2nd hand CD section which Metal Mayhem lacks (which again has tons of obscure out of print stuff cheap), and they get in lots of new imports of metal, hard rock, AOR, glam, prog, etc. that even places like Metal Mayhem don't stock. Except the new CDs are usually a few bucks more than Metal Mayhem (generally $30-35 as opposed to $25-30).

Gore: I imagine a frame that size wouldn't cost too much, but I have never seen one, and to get it actually framed professionally costs a fair bit I think.

No it doesn't. I was actually referring to a professional job. Frame Connection or somewhere like that would only charge about $30 tops for something that size. If your LP's in mint condition, it would be worth it.

It isn't mint, but it is in pretty good nick. Getting it out and looking at it, it is actually in better condition than I remembered it.

I was thinking I could get a wider frame and have the inner sleeve thing sticking out a bit or something, could look cool.
