Since I have no more info on this I will take your word on the subject. I'm get a little picky when the phrase Judeo-Christian is used. Christianity persecuted Jews for centuries, so I'm not particularly fond to be put in the same basket.
Why it doesn't surprise me? Apocrypha rampages in Catholic bibles.

well both jews and christians accept the hebrew bible and christianity is clearly based upon or has grown out of judaism so there is a common core or overlap between the two religions. judeo-christian is simply a common phrase to describe ideas pertaining to the two religions.
as far as apocrypha... as far as they are concerned those books are not apocryphal, they refer to them as the Deutero-Canonical books
