i am still pretty new to the internet,i used to rember with all past releases of anthrax i would read whatever i could bout the band.

whats frustrating is that with the internet all the info is up to date and you lose a bit of the mystery with what is actually going to happen
no surprises any more and the wait seems as twice as long!!!!

Sometimes the surprise is big enough. I remember one spring morning, when I woke up, switched on internet and among the few first things I read was - Layne Staley found dead.

I tend to agree a little bit. It used to be fun waiting for a band to come around on tour, or waiting for an album, because all you knew of a band was what you saw in magazines or on Headbangers Ball - now it is like we know what they eat and where they shit. A lot of the fun is gone.

Man, I went to see Cantrell in concert two days ago and I was dissapointed, the warm up bands blew, and Jerry used the musicians in the other bands for his, that is pathetic man, what's worse is that the last half of the set was all AIC, I know the man wrote the songs but without Staley the songs are a joke. Well, at about the time he started playing AIC "covers" I attempted to get onstage, which i did, and was thrown out, my friend that went to the show also did this and got thrown out, man the show was fucking boring.

My friend got to see his show too and he said exactly the same thing. I suppose Jerry didn´t want to let his songs die and be buried with Layne, but I just can´t imagine it without his voice.

The thing that I notice about the internet is that it has allowed more bands/labels and that has made the quality go way down. Now you have to sift through 100's of bands to get to one album that can even sit on the same shelf as the old Anthrax stuff.

I've posted nearly the exact same thing before.
I mean when Vol 8 came out I didn't know about it until it was on the shelf in my local indie record shop.
The internet rocks most of the time, and then other times it sucks.
But the porn is always good!
