Interviewing MJR this weekend...

1. Does he ever think of being involved in a jazz/fusion project? if so, when?

2. Has he ever met any of his guitar heroes (Yngwie, Al DiMeola, Allan Holdsworth)? If so, did they throw a jam together?

3. Ask him about HIS favorite vocalists.

4. Tell him I said hello. :)

I would really like to know if he was asked to contribute to the Alchemists cd. If he wasn't, then I would be really surprised...especially since the guy who put it together said in an interview he was a MJR fan. They could have at least put a song off Dark Chapter on there.

Oh another one, did he take lessons from Rob Johnson...I saw this on an internet site and was wondering if it is true. I know he knows him and thinks highly of his playing. Also, what does he think of Michael Angelo?

Agreed, it would be great to hear his opinion

and my question
Are they going to play in Puerto Rico someday?:) (if they know where that is :p)

I asked him this yesterday..he said they'd love to someday.

Most of the time where they play is up to promoters/labels/the people with the $, so the band's not the one saying "We want to play here, and here, and there".

Ask him what does he think of Mike Portnoy's idea of making a prog version of "Ozzfest"?

PEACE...

Pozzfest

That's a pretty damn cool idea... And it should happen in australia
