Hey, I'm a newbie here. Being 36, probably one of the older ones! I grew up listening to 80's thrash/death metal and punk/hardcore. In the early 90's, I kinda lost hope for the music I loved. But within the last few years, via the internet, I've discovered SO many great bands out there! Lacuna Coil, Beseech, Moonspell, My Dying Bride, Cradle of Filth-- mostly the more 'goth' or 'darker' bands. The interesting thing is that they are mostly European!
