FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE July 23, 2010
Intromental Worldwide signs Atlanta metal band HALCYON WAY.
Intromental Worldwide is proud to have signed Atlanta, GA metal band and Nightmare Records recording artist Halcyon Way for worldwide booking and management representation.
Throughout the past bunch of years weve become more and more aware that something special was brewing down in the home of Coca-Cola, and when Halcyon Way sent us their new material, we were literally blown away, says managing director Claus Jensen. Weve been looking for a band capable of combining powerful and semi-technical metal, a healthy dose of thrash metal riffs, and a strong sense of melodic song writing - Halcyon Way delivers!
Halcyon Way guitarist Jon Bodan adds: Were very excited about this new partnership with Intromental, and we think theyre just the guys to help take our band to the next level. The new album is a beast and this will help us get it heard by as many as possible.
Halcyon Way are preparing to release their sophomore album Building The Towers later this summer via Nightmare Records in the US. The album was recorded with Lasse Lammert (Alestorm, Svartsot) and features not only the bands fantastic new singer Steve Braun, but also a beautiful guest performance by Pamela Moore of Queensryches Operation:Mindcrime fame. The artwork for Building The Towers was created by none other than Travis Smith (known for his work on Opeth, Nevermore, Overkill and much more).
