IR impulses latency...

hi

is there a way to reduce latency in IR? it is not noticeable when playing slowly
but when the guitar player does fast picking it guess messy

any ideas?
i use pro tools digi 002

Some impulses have a little silence in the begining, which causes latency. You can cut it if there is such. Another thing to bear in mind is some plugins such as SiR have latency no matter what your interface and computer is.
