I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but, has anyone seen this commercial yet?

basically it's a bracelet that makes you run faster, lift harder, become a genius, sleep better, and just generally improve at everything in human existence.

and I'm sure people are buying it in droves.

After seeing the ad many times on TV, I noticed that the company dude pulls people to the side or away from their body without the bracelet, and then pulls them directly down when they're wearing the bracelet...obviously, it's easier to balance when it's downward vertical pressure instead of horizontal pressure. Total scam.

EDIT:

Hahaha, apparently I'm not the only one who noticed:

Also, total sucker idiot customer here:

Well, you will be able to position the mic in a more balanced position if you have the bracelet on, so it definitely pertains to IRs.

Here's the actual ad:

I especially love the doctor at 1:16...the guy sounds like a total slimy tool. And seriously, what kind of doctor would tell you that balancing your body's "energy" equates to balancing your overall health? And the vagueness of the terms "energy" and "your body's natural frequencies"...

They were called powerbands or something here in AUS. but after a few years of sales, major authorities looked into the company and have now issued a recall and anyone who already owned one can now receive a FULL refund.

people are stupid.
