I think it's ok to say that some heavy metal sucks MetalMaiden. It's ok to dislike a few things...heh.

Renegade IMO was a bad album. Very bad. But to my preceding point, I'm sure their earlier releases were better - I just haven't heard them. So I'm not writing them off as a band, I just thought Renegade was weak.

Put it this way, there is SO much good stuff out there, I don't have enough time to listen to the mediocre! You know what I mean right? :)

Does Maiden need three guitarists? No. However, live a third guitarist does thicken up the sound a bit. Getting rid of Janick won't solve anything. I would hope that they ditribute the guitar chorses more evenly, though.

It's just a shame that Janick fucks things up too often. He's not a technical genius at all - his playing is messy. And it's an absolute crying shame that he plays the parts that Adrian Smith would normally play live (like the intro to 2 minutes).

I say get rid of him - they sounded better during their World Slavery tour (with two guitarists). Live After Death is a classic.

It's not even as if they play three harmonies now - two guitars play at the same octave, and the third plays the harmony. Pointless.
