Anyone here go to the Iron Maiden/Dio/Motorheard show last night at the Verizon Amphitheatre? Their 3 guitarists are pretty impressive. As was Bruce's voice.

I was there. It was an amazing performance by Iron Maiden as usual. Dio played all my favorite songs as well. Unfortunately I missed Motorhead due to the line to get into the venue was HUGE. I was glad Maiden played something off their new cd. It was great to see the venue packed with wall to wall metal heads. After last nights show I wished I was going to all 3 night.

I was at the SD show last night. Bruce said the SD crowd was the best of the socal 
motorhead kicked ass.
I was 9th row, but the place was rather empty when motorhead went on, so I bummed rush up the front (they put seats on the floor of the sports areana - you couldnt pit at all). 2 security gaurds then escorted me back to my seat. I then got up the 3rd row, but they spotted me again (like I said, it was empty, and I kinda stand out in a crowd for some reason) and tried to get me, but I lost em in the fourth row. woo hoo

When I saw the Clash of the Titans tour they put seating on the floor of the memorial colliseum...during Alice in Chains everything was relatively mellow..then Slayer came on and ripped into their 4 song Reign in Blood trip and the place went ape shit! The seats were flying through the air..4 and 5 seats bolted together flying through the air until there was a huge pile of seats over to the side and a huge pit right in the middle of the floor! The security guys didnt know what the hell to do, everyone was rushing the stage and ripping their seats up..it was killer! The security turned into the put the seats in a nice pile guys..and try not to get hit by any! That's what they get for having seating on the floor of a metal show!! There were never seats at that venue again either!

It was a great crowd. Dio was amazing--he's so energetic for his age! And I love the stage set for Maiden.
Wish I'd seen you there metalmaiden. It was cool hanging with you at the TON show.

Hey Cin I had fun too hanging out the night before. I looked for you at Maiden. I was sitting in the section infront of yours but didn't see you between DIO and Maiden playing. Hope ta see you soon.
